These standalone hybrid systems are designed to fit client’s requirements exactly deliver electricity 24/7 to meet demand. A perfect option for more challenging environments our containerised off grid systems offer a highly effective way to get power to the right places.
The systems include our proprietary control technology, highly efficient generator power and energy storage in lithium ion or Gel/AGM batteries with options for links to renewable power.
Bespoke Hybrid Power Unit - Containerised hybrid power up to 90kVA
Containerised hybrid power up to 90kVA, single and three phase
The generator is integrated into the hybrid system and housed within the container in its own compartment. This compartment provides easy access to the generator for maintenance and servicing along with a complete ventilation and exhaust system for the generator.
Our electric vehicle charging station is a fully sustainable containerised solution that provides recharging power from renewable energy sources. Based on our containerised hybrid power unit, these vehicle charging stations feature a mounted solar array on the roof of the container which charges the intelligent battery bank within. The stored battery power is then available to recharge electric vehicles that plug in to the container. The units can be configured to accept wind as well as solar.
As part of the design, the solar array can be dismantled and stored within the container, making it easy to transport to locations worldwide as a fully iso rated standard shipping container. Each unit offers a sturdy solution for locations where a grid connection is unavailable and can be easily operated and maintained by owners.

Reducing emissions in work areas with hybrid container systems
These containerised hybrid power units addressed a requirement from EuroTunnel to provide a robust power source for their service teams working in isolated tunnel areas. The units were commissioned to reduce carbon emissions in the immediate work areas – an issue when working purely with diesel generators. The hybrid power unit supplies power for tunnel operative undertaking maintenance work via a bespoke lithium battery system. The generators within the units provide the power to recharge the battery bank at the end of a shift and in the event of a particular high load or extended work period.

Hybrid Electric Vehicle Charging Station
This unique hybrid charging station located on Ascension Island is one of two designed, built and commissioned by the Energy Solutions Hybrid Power team. The unit uses the mounted solar array to charge a sophisticated battery bank which in turn provides the power for the client to recharge their fleet of electric vans. The location of the units required them to be sturdy and easy to maintain by the client’s own staff. The Energy Solutions Hybrid Service team worked on site alongside the client to ensure the correct installation and to provide the final commissioning. During this period the local staff were trained in the operation and maintenance of the system.
